Bout of Books Day #2 Update – I FINISHED A BOOK.

Bout of Books

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 12th and runs through Sunday, May 18th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 10 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

That’s right, folks. I finished reading my first book for the read-a-thon (*pats back). I actually finished it a couple of minutes ago prior to writing this post. Does that count as Day 2? Oh, what the heck.

Note: This reading update is for May 13 (Tuesday)

Number of books I’ve read: 1 (!!!) + one short story

Book(s) read: Just Call Me Ninja by Clare Haltom, The Greatest Escape by Laura Van Den Berg

Currently reading:

  • Lies by Michael Grant
  • Written in Red by Anne Bishop

Any bookish thoughts?

  • Been on the lookout for a review on Just Call Me Ninja, it’s part of a blog tour I’m participating.

To everyone who’s participating, how many books have you read so far? Are you like me who has read only one??? Happy reading! 😀

  1. Congrats on finishing your first book of the read-a-thon! I’ve been able to finish two so far, but only because I’ve been reading like crazy lol. I’m already starting to get exhausted, and I think I’ll take the next couple days a bit slower. Great post, and happy reading! 🙂

  2. How come I did not know about this Bout of Books O_O That’s such a shame, I would have loved to join this one! In any case I see you’ve read Written in Red… that makes me happy because I loved that book to death 😀 Are you gonna write a review?
